Glory Certifies Antuar Software on their TellerInfinity Kiosk

  • October, 2017
October, 2017, Dublin, Ireland - Glory today announced the certification of its TellerInfinity™ solution with Antuar, a leading supplier of innovative branch software solutions to banks and other financial institutions.

TellerInfinity, Glory’s assisted service solution, enables a wide range of physical media and client assistance services previously only possible through a human teller. When deployed with Antuar’s inBranch software suite, TellerInfinity provides new ibranch service opportunities for financial institutions, by linking on-line and mobile banking plus on-site digital marketing and queue management systems, across their branch network.

Formed in 2012, Antuar delivers innovative branch banking software to banks around the world. Its proven inBranch software enables banks to improve the metrics across cost, revenue and customer satisfaction, coupled with the business intelligence to track and monitor these metrics.

When partnered with Antuar’s inBranch Kiosk application, Glory’s TellerInfinity solution supports many different customer services, including cash withdrawal, cash deposit, note/coin recycling and check deposit, as well as account transfers, loan or bill payment, statement review and printing, and many other customer services. A key feature of inBranch provides connectivity to roving bank staff equipped with tablets, to notify them of the need for customer support when required.

In the hyper-competitive environment of banking, changes in branch traffic are causing banks to re-assess the role of the branch. Banks are restructuring branches to deliver excellent customer service in a more cost-effective way, while releasing staff to provide consultation and support to customers seeking financial advice.

TellerInfinity has been selected by banks around the world as a practical and comprehensive solution for efficient service delivery, merging many of the transactions performed by traditional tellers and self-service ATM’s into one device, while retaining personal interaction options with staff members as and when required. Bank branches can manage customer engagement and fulfil all types of customer needs more quickly and efficiently, with very high levels of customer engagement.

“As more and more banks around the world begin to explore the opportunities offered by assisted service technology to transform the branch customer experience we are focused on making successful deployment as easy as possible. It’s about giving our customers choice. While we offer our own suite of software solutions, we recognize that Antuar is a leader in providing multi-vendor self- and assisted-service applications, and as such we are delighted to be working with them.”

Mike Bielamowicz, EVP Global Solutions at Glory

“The area of assisted self-service is fast becoming a popular option in the area of branch transformation. Glory’s TellerInfinity and Antuar’s inBranch Kiosk gives financial institutions the flexibility and breadth of transactions to optimize their branch offerings and still maintain the human touch point that builds relationship. We are excited to be able to work with Glory to deliver solutions in this space and we continue to extend the number and types of transactions we can offer.” Gearoid Power,CEO, Antuar

Antuar’s Assisted Self Service Product, inBranch Kiosk, Goes Live

  • June, 2016
June 20, 2016, Dublin, Ireland - Antuar are pleased to announce the deployment of their inBranch Kiosk application software in America First Credit Union’s new Innovation Centre located in Salt Lake City, UT, USA. inBranch Kiosk offers Assisted Self Service functionality to people to perform the transactions that would ordinarily be undertaken by the branch staff and that are not possible on the internet or mobile channels. However, if the member wishes to complete a transaction that requires a staff member to approve it, approval can be granted through a staff interface on a PC or tablet. Approval can be provided for transactions above threshold amounts, or those that require a verification of a secondary piece of identification. As the solution is implemented as part of the digital network, rather than the ATM network, Antuar’s inBranch Kiosk allows branch staff to assist any operation that is undertaken at the Kiosk. Access to CRM data and functionality can yield a personalized interface for the kiosk user, and promote other sales and services. At the Innovation Center, inBranch Kiosk is implemented on an IBM stack and interfaced through Glory Global Solution’s TellerInfinity kiosk and works in conjunction with inBranch Transact, Antuar’s branch transaction solution. The TellerInfinity contains a cash recycler, statement printer, receipt printer, encrypted pin pad, card reader, NFC reader, Check scanner, bar code reader and camera.

Benefits of this offering include:

  • One device for members/customers to interact with for a wide range of transactions and service requirements, improves customer experience, and reduces the footprint required in a branch or other locations.

  • Richer interface and functionality than ATMs enables financial institutions align the user experience with other self service channels to create continuity on the multi-channel customer journey.

  • The ability for the customer to request real time assistance reduces bank costs while maintaining the quality of service.

  • By utilizing cash recycling technology, restocking events are less frequent thus reducing operational costs.

  • By reducing the employees' focus on transactional activities, employees are free to focus on the opportunity for higher value sales and service activities.

  • Control of the kiosk interface and process flows enables personalized and localized messages, offers and opportunities to be presented.

  • Kiosks provide a great tool to assist members/customers in the transition to self service or in the launch of new products or services.

"This is a very exciting time for America First, for Glory Global Solutions and for Antuar. It shows how software and hardware can help financial institutions transform the delivery of branch services."

Gearoid Power, CEO, Antuar

Gearoid Power, Antuar's CEO, will be presenting Physical Interaction in a Digital Age: Consumer behaviour is rapidly shifting to remote self service interaction channels, yet many customers still cite access to a branch as a key selection criteria for their banking provider. The pace of change in retail banking has accelerated and only the most agile financial service providers will prosper. Antuar Partners with XtremePush to Enhance Customer Experience

  • Jan, 2016

Jan, 2016, Dublin, Ireland - To enhance the geolocation based capabilities of inBranch Engage, Antuar's consumer interaction management platform, Antuar has partnered with XtremePush to implement its powerful location-targeting technology in order to enhance customer experience, drive sales and increase efficiencies within the branch.

Antuar utilizes XtremePush capabilities embedded into a customer's mobile banking application to identify when the customer is present within a branch or specific area within the branch.

inBranch Engage then identifies and prioritizes the customer and informs staff at the branch that the customer is present. This information may contain wealth indicators or at what stage within an application process (such as for a loan, or mortgage) the customer is. Knowing that the customer is in the branch before they make contact can allow staff to appear proactive and more engaged.

Staff can also use push notifications from within inBranch to engage with the customer through their mobile application ahead of any face-to-face meeting. So, if you have an individual with specific needs that is in a queue to talk to a teller, staff can receive an alert asking if they would like to speak to somebody in a more intimate environment, away from the queue, or just be given a more personalized and elevated level of care.

"Using XtremePush's in-App and server functionality allows the customer journey to be more seamless, and this improves the overall experience. We are delighted to partner with XtremePush to improve the value Antuar can bring to our clients."

Gearoid Power, CEO, Antuar

Rethinking banking - to survive and grow in the digital era

  • May, 2015

26 May, 2015, Dublin, Ireland - There has been a lot of talk about the impact of technology, and more specifically the 'digital' channels, that customers now use to interact with their Financial Institutions (FI). The FIs have embraced these new channels and lead their customers down that path, not primarily for customer service reasons but to minimise costs.

However the tail is now wagging the dog. Customers are now demanding these channels and forcing the banks into providing them (while still wanting the physical branch network), putting ever increasing pressure on the banks to deliver. If the bank is not at least as good at providing them as their competitors, they run the risk of loosing the customer. The Customer now expects the banking service and experience to be as good as anything they have on their iPhone.

Faced with the challenge of responding to these developments in technology and finding new sources of revenue, while also controlling costs and meeting regulatory requirements, FIs look for ever more innovative ideas to satiate the customer demadetermines how quickly a financial institution can adapt in order to survive in today’s tough market.

"It is the balance between velocity of delivery and the provision of good service that I see as the challenge. It will be interesting to see how Irish institutions look at this problem."

Antuar presents at IBM Developer Connects UKI

  • November, 2014

November 6, 2014, Twickenham, London - Gearoid Power, CEO, Antuar, presents at the IBM Developer Connects Seminar to talk about how BlueMix, IBM's Platform as as Service (PAAS), can be used as a tool to quickly prove business ideas and technical proof of concepts. The title of the talk was 'Fail Fast'. A term commonly associated with Lean StartUp methods.

BlueMix has solution templates called 'boiler plates' as well as published IBM and third party services. The PAAS allows solutions to be deployed quickly without the need for the provisioning of hardware, third party software installation or software licensing constraints. BlueMix is free initially, and users will only pay for what they use after a certain threshold. This means that users of the PAAS can cheaply and quickly establish if their ideas will work technically and also have working proof of concepts or Beta applications to show potential users or clients to validate business ideas.

One tweet that summed up the presentation pretty well was by IBM Software Architect, Ian Pattison:

Antuar's inBranch deployed to IBM's new BlueMix PAAS

  • July, 2014

APOLLO BEACH, FL - With the growing popularity and prevalence of cloud based solutions in the financial sector, and the new demands made on branch systems, Antuar's inBranch suite of branch solutions is now deployable on IBM cloud servers.

Deploying on BlueMix, IBM's Platform as a Service (PAAS) means inBranch functionality is delivered on a comprehensive platform that is backed by IBM, one of the must trusted technology and solutions brands in banking.

Antuar Implements Teller Capture Check21 in Top 10 Credit Union

  • April, 2014

APOLLO BEACH, Florida - April, 2014 Antuar Implements its Front Counter Teller Capture Check21 Solution in America First Credit Union as Part of Teller/Branch System Upgrade

Antuar, in partnership with Northwest Bank Technology, and Parascript, is announcing successful roll out of a front counter transaction capture Check 21 solution across all 100 branches of the America First Credit Union (AFCU) network. The new system is expected to improve branch efficiency and reduce operational effort and cost.

With the new system, check images are scanned at the moment of deposit with Burroughs check scanners and the CAR/LAR details are retrieved using Parascript's intelligent document recognition (IDR) software. The technology is integrated directly into AFCU’s teller system. The Antuar product processes the MICR and CAR/LAR information to categorize instrument types (on-us, transit/other, bond etc.) before checking for duplicates and errors, and then incorporates the details into the financial transaction process. AFCU’s tellers are able to balance and prove each deposit in real time in the presence of the depositor. The deposit is then completed and the check details are passed to the Federal Reserve using Northwest Bank Technology's MICR Image Processing System (MIPS) software.

The system integrates seamlessly into the AFCU teller system, ensuring that issues with checks are highlighted immediately during initial transaction, to avoid any research work to rectify problems later. Tellers can capture and proof check details seamlessly, as they are received, via single transaction or batch mode for the over 12 million checks that are processed by the branch network each year using Burroughs provided check scanners. Parascipt's CheckPlus and CheckUsability software help to ensure the integrity of the captured data.

Other benefits of the new system include:

  • Reduced processing errors and research time
  • No added infrastructural costs or branch server/storage required
  • Solution can be completely integrated into current teller applications without having to go to an external application. Results in a single source of check image and financial data allowing more complete reconciliation at end of day
  • Checks images and meta data can be sent to the Federal Reserve immediately after submitting the financial transaction for faster processing

"Antuar is a great partner and one of the most capable, hard working and trustworthy vendors we have worked with."

Steve Hilton , Director of Research and Development, America First Credit Union.

“We are pleased to make the process of verifying transactions seamless and easy for a leading instution like, America First Credit Union, focused on providing its customers with best-in-class technology.”

Gearoid Power , CEO of Antuar.

CUNA Conference Feedback

  • July 3, 2013

July 3, 2013, New York - Just back from the CUNA conference in New York where we talked with many different Credit Unions and Exhibitors. We received a lot of positive feedback from the attendees, in particular we received high praise for the following features of our application (in no particular order:)

  • A complete view of the member in one application: we present all personal and financial information of the member, as well as the member’s last interactions and branch transactions to the Teller. This leads to a much more personalized and complete service for the members.
  • The use of technology: the ability to have remote supervisor override on a smart phone or other station; the capability to have the application on a tablet/iPad for queue busting or private meetings; the ability to integrate to peripherals from a thin client(browser based); multiple suspended sessions; the ability to send sms and email receipts to members instead of printed receipts; the multilingual design of the application eg Spanish/English.
  • Ease of use and navigation including designed touch screen capability.
  • Check21: The ability to scan checks and proof them at the time of processing in a seamless and efficient way, with immediate suggested input warnings.
  • Reports and branch management dashboard.
  • The ability for the branch managers to reach the members at a branch level though receipt messaging, and branch communication messages to staff.
  • Denomination management capability throughout the day.
